Shade
I have these LED lights in my closet that I’ve always wanted to use for a photoshoot and for this particular photo shoot I put them to use. I changed the colour of the lights to purple and took several pictures of this pair of shoes on my shoe rack and this particular photo is the one I liked. I liked the angle of the photo and how the purple glimmers around the toe cap and changes the overall atmosphere of the photo.
While editing this photo, I dropped the contrast slightly and boosted the saturation a bit which made the purple pop a bit more. Lastly, I turned the tint to a bit purple to once again just make that purple colour pop.

Layers
I took this photo at a yellow crosswalk platform around the corner from my house. Taking the photo was kind of a struggle because I had to turn the camera around and take it as if I was my own photographer. Anyways, I liked the original but I wanted to layer it up and change the blending options to make it interesting, and that’s where we get into the editing of this photo.
So for editing this photo, I made 5 layers of the same photo and moved each one below the other so all were visible but the one In the front was the most visible. Next, I simply changed the blending option on each layer to make each layer interact with the one below it differently and this was the outcome. I think the reason why I like this edit so much is because I love looking at photos and then seeing them from a different perspective (for example: invert colours) and looking at how the textures and colours are different from the original.

Grocery Shopping
I have these brown shoes I got in Hungary about two years ago that have just been sitting in my closet and for this shooting assignment I REALLY wanted to do something with them. Anyways, I was researching the works of different creative designers for fashion magazines and I noticed that a lot of them incorporate clothing into really weird things, but it works and looks amazing. So basically for this picture I tried to use the inspiration I got from those creative designers and incorporate shoes into something odd. I grabbed a grocery bag and stuffed it with different foods and condiments that were all the same colour as my shoes.
While editing this photo, all I changed was the white balance by finding a neutral grey and the crop by bringing in the left side of the photo a bit to remove background items that didn’t have anything to do with the photo.
